Outreach & Community-Based Services
The Rural Health Unit extends essential services beyond the facility through community outreach programs. These efforts aim to bring healthcare directly to individuals and families, especially in underserved and remote barangays.
Barangay health missions: On-site consultations, vital signs monitoring, health counseling, and basic treatments brought directly to communities.
Health education campaigns: Community sessions on sanitation, nutrition, disease prevention, maternal health, and child wellness.
Mobile clinic services: Delivery of essential healthcare to remote or transportation-challenged areas.
Community screenings: On-site blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring, nutritional assessment, and referral for advanced care when needed.
Home visits: Follow-up care and support for elderly, bedridden, or chronically ill patients unable to travel to the RHU.
Partnership with barangay health workers: Strengthening local health systems by coordinating with BHWs for reporting, monitoring, and health promotion.
Stronger communities start with accessible healthcare — together, we bring health services closer to every home.
